Installation
Simply epoxy the rare earth magnet to any motor shaft (the tiny rare earth magnet is only 1/8" diameter and is feather weight). Use an epoxy that bonds to metal. Mount the RPM sensor to a bracket so the nose of the sensor is within 1/4" from the magnet face. Connect the 2 sensor wires to the 2 meter wires and you are done! Polarity of the wires does not matter.

Note 1: This product is tested at the SenDEC factory during and after manufacturing. Therefore, there may be up to one tenth of an hour (0.1) accu accumulated on the meter because of testing.

Note 2: Handling of the meter wires during hookup may cause the meter to run temporarily (show RPM). This is because of static and will stop after the wires are hooked up, or are no longer handled.

CAUTION: Only qualified personnel should make electrical connections.  Disconnect power prior to working on electrical circuits.  Failure to follow normal electrical guidelines may result in damage to equipment and/or serious bodily injury.
